Overview

A communication training service where new employees role-play workplace situations with AI. Users complete mission-based conversations and receive evaluation scores and suggested improvements based on the full conversation.

  • Period: July – December 2025 · 5 months
  • Team: 7 people · 3 frontend, 4 backend (including me)
  • Role: PM, AI, and backend

Contributions

AI

  • Mission- and persona-based role-play, full-conversation evaluation, and feedback
  • Conversation-history-based query rewriting and metadata filtering
  • Cross-Encoder reranking improving Recall@3 from 0.48 to 0.98

Backend

Designed WebSocket response streaming and a protocol separating conversation and evaluation states.
